CATHOLIC CHURCH

Due to the enormous cost of the pedophilia scandal, Roman Catholic dioceses throughout the United States have become more and more reliant on obtaining tax payer dollars to stay afloat.
The most innovative means of tapping into public funds by the financially strapped dioceses resides in the provision of administrative services to newly arrived Muslim immigrants through Catholic Social Services.
Such immigrants are now arriving here at the rate of 90,000 a year.
They arrive in need of housing, food, medical care, educational services, and employment, if not welfare checks.
Enter Catholic Social Services (CSS) which can serve as a “resettlement contractor” for the newcomers – – at considerable cost.
For every refugee or “client,” CSS receives $2,025 from the Reception and Placement Program (RPP), which operates under the U.S. State Department.
Since the number of Muslim refugees has increased year after year throughout the 21stCentury, the CCS has developed a multi-billion dollar business.
The cost to CCS is purely administrative. The agency does not provide actual food, shelter, or financial subsidy to the refugees. It merely refers them to federal and state agencies where the refugees can get public housing, food stamps, emergency welfare assistance, and other benefits.
In Milwaukee, Wisconsin alone, CSS in recent months expects to process more than 500 refugees, most of whom are devout Rohingya Muslims from Burma. Within the past three years, CSS has received more than $7 million from Wilwaukee alone.
In addition to RPP, CSS receives additional funding from other governmental offices, including the Department of Health and Human Services, the Administration of Children and Families, and Refugee and Entrant Assistant Funds.
CCS also receives funding from other “clients,” including the legal and illegal immigrants who flow into the country from the southern border.
Because federal agencies in many major U.S. cities are now maxed to the limit with refugees and migrants, CSS has undertaken the task of relocating thousands of them to various places throughout the country, including Radford, Virginia, Reno, Nevada, Ithaca, New York, Eugene, Oregon, and even Ogden, Utah, where the director of CSS for the local diocese is a former Somali refugee.
The problem created for such communities has sparked outrage from the residents.
Jeff Bayard of Virginia Free Citizen Watch has posted this letter to the residents of Radford:
To The Citizens of Radford, Virginia June 29, 2016

Over the past few weeks, two important meetings were held in Radford. The subject of both was to introduce Radford to the refugee resettlement program under the auspices of Commonwealth Catholic Charities, a sub-contractor for the USConference of Catholic Bishops. The USCCB is a federal contractor in the business of resettling refugees in your community. Both meetings were conducted in local churches and sought volunteers to help with the resettlement activities.

Let’s start with some facts: who are these people, what are they doing here and why Radford?

USCCB is a federal contractor in the business – and yes, it is a business – of resettling refugees under the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement and the Virginia Office of Newcomer Services. Much of their funding comes from federal grant money allocated to Virginia and passed through the Virginia ONS. Voluntary Agencies (VOLAGs) such as the USCCB are paid by the head. In other words, the more refugees they resettle, the more money they receive. Given this business model, there is no incentive for any VOLAG to stop resettling refugees in your community. Once it starts, it will not stop until either your community can’t shoulder any more or you stop it.

Yes, they are talking about only bringing in two families. But this is how it always starts. Look to your neighbors in the north in Roanoke to understand what awaits you. Roanoke has accepted close to 2,000 refugees over more than ten years from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burma, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Pakistan, Republic of South Sudan, Russia, Rwanda, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan and Vietnam.

And that number – 2,000 – is only the direct and initial refugee resettlement. It does not include secondary migration (when a refugee moves from one state and town to another within the US) or follow to join (family reunification).

Despite such outcry, the CSS continues to “resettle” more and more Muslims in the tiny town of Radford, with a population of 16,208.
